Some of us have been on top of this development and have been using the c.m.e. Thread for information exchange . This horrific threat deserves it's own thread .
Until corrected , I will presume the quoted post is due to another member opening the link , that I clearly put the warning ' this video may not be suitable for some ' . It appears me putting that warning was much justified . It ain't poltireist's fault if some did not heed that warning and felt uncomfortable with what they found . Poltergeist did not make that video but only put it forth for consumption by serious preppers nor did poltiregist proclaim anything on that video as factual . It is simply information that some preppers seek so they can take appropriate responses .From polteregist:
It is not lost on me ,some can not fantom the dark depths of my prepper slash survivalist mind . Usually my postings are not meant in malice toward anyone , but are based on my prepper thinking process . Yes some can't grasp that level of thinking and their often reaction is anger
I’m sorry some here have let you down. /sarc
Thanks for the reply . My mistake , as i knew we had one member open it , then complain about it , so I just guessed we had a repeat . For curious members that have not opened that link will just say it goes into a dark realm that just ain't suitable for some . --- reading the sentence on the earth had a timeline in which to flip . I don't recall a timeline . I may have to watch it again to see about that timeline . --- Something seems to be going over some's head as in their thinking process . I have been trying to be nice and not point something out but under the circumstances will . Serious preppers seek the most horrific forecasts . Why - so they can prepare for the worst case scenarios . Some only prepare for moderate or minor events and do not want to hear about something that they are not willing to face . Now whether that horrific forecast ever materializes , doesn't matter with me , as in whether it happens are not , I am willing to face it and hopefully prepare for it . That humility comment , nope i don't apologize for taking prepping to a serious level .AmericanPop did not open the link you posted and warned us from opening. AmericanPop merely extrapolated from the post TITLE and your previous posts.
The Earth did not flip 90 degrees within the time allotted so some humility might be in order.
If the crust shifts 90 degrees in one day (per the claim), you won't survive it.Thanks for the reply . And here is the summary answer it provided: (my emphasis added)I have a different scenario that may change the numbers a bit. I'd like a re-evaluation and an output requirement in joules (with examples for clarity) on the following:
What would it take for the entire crust of the earth to detach from the mantle and rotate 90 degrees (in any direction) such that the former pole positions are now in line with the equator. Let's simplify and assume the earth is a sphere.
Like I said, nobody is surviving this, irrespective of preparation, and it's absurd on its face.Final Answer
The energy required to detach the Earth’s crust from the mantle and rotate it by 90 degrees, aligning the former poles with the equator, is approximately 6.242×10^27 J. This is equivalent to ~16.4 seconds of the Sun’s energy output, ~62,420 Chicxulub impacts, or ~10.4 million years of global energy consumption. This estimate is highly simplified, and the actual energy would likely be higher due to unaccounted dissipative forces and structural complexities. Such an event is physically implausible and would have catastrophic consequences.
To subdue any misconceptions, I don't know you from Adam. Others seem to know you from other places. I've never been a member of those other boards, so I've never run across your other content that may be elsewhere.it has been surprising to me that this topic has received so much attention . As you guys know , I actually placed the opening salvo on the C.M.E. thread as a simple one post expectation . Frankly the uproar over it , i suspect has more to do with " who placed it " than what the contents were . I can't imagine anyone getting their drawers in a wad over such a unlikely occurrence . As I said , I look for the worst so I can prepare for the worst . If someone can't face a horrific scenario then they can't prep for it , regardless what that event might be . Prepping is simply something that has become much of a hobby .
Along with the scenario being impossible, you infer that you are so smart and advanced that most can't handle watching a video that gives no evidence for a silly, made-up event. As Kauboy stated, having a basic grasp of physics would help anyone understand how ridiculous the proposed event is, and dismiss it entirely. Generally, everyone on this board looks at worst case scenarios, and tries to prepare accordingly, but this supposed event is on the same scale like preparing for an alien invasion where they suck up all our water in the oceans and then leave. Prepare for that! It could happen!it has been surprising to me that this topic has received so much attention . I got so much foil just for that specific event.Along with the scenario being impossible, you infer that you are so smart and advanced that most can't handle watching a video that gives no evidence for a silly, made-up event.
