Hello all. My name is Keith. I'm 58, married with one teenage daughter. We live in Saint Louis, MO, and are fortunate to also have a lakefront cabin at Lake of the Ozarks.

Been prepping most of my adult life and not knowing it. It was just something handed down. Lessons learned from parents and grand parents that went through the depression. You always stick a little something back for hard times. Started with just keeping 2 weeks worth of stuff at hand in case of a natural disaster. Have bumped that up to 4 weeks. Lessons learned from Katrina and Sandy. Now working towards a 3 month supply. Little by little, week by week. Think hard about what you really NEED.

The cabin is my bug-out location, IF we can get out of the city. So I'm creating two stockpiles!

Thanks for listening.

That's awesome.. sounds like you're light years ahead with the generational knowledge and skills you have.
