Just passing this on. As we age our hands some times do not grip as they once did. Others do to size and strength may find auto-loading hand guns hard to chamber a round.
Often it is because they have not been shown a better way to do it. This is for anyone that use a hand gun to at least consider .

This is a great technique I use on my 9mm. The serrated edges at the back of the slide are a bit sharp and since it is striker fired it is a bit stiff to rack. This move works very well.

Another technique that can be used in many instances is to take the firearm and press the small part of the slide between the front sight and the barrel at the muzzle against a hard object. (Basically point the firarm at the object and press the top lip of the muzzle down on it.)
Or if you have a square rear sight you can do the same.
This is taught in combat schools for one hand reload,malfunction clear, etc..
