There have been female commentators on the sidelines of NFL games for years. Since a woman has to be three times as good as a man (and look better to boot) to hold the same job, I've noticed for a few years that the women on the sidelines were way better than the fools in the booth.

And ESPN finally gave a woman a seat at the table, at halftime. Finally. Progress.

Not if she is good in the sack. Try and compete with that or a company looking for a government contract promotes an incompetent minority or woman to a position of power that is appearance only. Others whom are not adequately compensated for it have to do their work. This stuff cuts both ways.

NFL? ESPN?
Both are jokes. Politically correct, leftist, jokes.

NASCAR and NHRA has had not only female reporters, but female drivers, for decades.
That's because real men aren't intimidated by real women.
Unlike spoiled boys who play with balls.

Delaney, right?

If there's anyone who can get me interested in basketball, it's Sue Bird. Too bad she plays for the other team. If there's anyone who could get me to watch car racing, it would be Delaney. (Not sure how you spell it.) I'm a stone-cold sucker for long, black hair.

I, and my wife, do not watch tv programming out of general principle.
Let alone NFL or ESPN.

I do not disagree with the equality of women vs men.
My wife is a 14-N Lt. COL in the AFNG. She is smarter than most men of her rank.

She is of the opinion that a lot of SJWs take advantage of the situation to further their own careers.

Both fairly sexist statements in Liberal circles. Aren't you worried you'll get your card taken away?

At what cost? What kind of woman would want that? A woman's time is better spent taking care of her home and family.
Not one I would want to date or marry but I have encountered it to my detriment. Obviously your not in that category. Selecting some one on the basis of something other than qualifications is a lousy deal unless you are the one benefiting.

Then that's what you should do, if that's what you (and your mate) believe. (Agreement within a couple is beyond the scope, here. Different topic, different recourse, different results.)

I'm not against traditional gender roles.

I'm against society creating artificial barriers that prevent one (of either gender) from doing what they want merely because of their gender.

Did she work for CNN as a political pundit before this gig?

I suppose if you need to talk one way on the forum and another around your friends, to each is own.
Friends? I didn't say anything about friends.

I actually don't say anything different around them, at least two of them have been here as long as I have, reading what I write, what you write, and what everyone else writes.

We talk about your ass at the block parties. It's one of the ways I know that your board could be larger.
