So sitting here watching Tv my wife and I came to a sad but true conclusion. The tornadoes ripping through Oklahoma left a lot of destruction and sadness in the counties state and country for that matter. There are plenty of fund raising events going to help the victims of the natural disaster, what irritates my wife and I is the fact that the money raised for this repair is great and will go to bringing some stability back to the state and its people there but it will not be anywhere close to the money donated to save Haiti...

We may be thinking about this all wrong but we have come to a conclusion that it seems more people in the states today are worried about saving everyone else than saving our own right here in the states...

I was just posting to see if there are like minded people out there and what they think.

Thanks.

Because the boo-hoo telethons/concerts/look at me so I can remain relevent in the public eye fund raising events are about self promotion and furthering their own agendas. Celebrities actually think they are doing good by trying to convince me to part with my money when they do nothing but make a commercial or an appearance at some fund raising event. Many times they are compensated for their appearance. They are in a far better position to help financially but they can up their popularity by twittering or facebooking their minions into action. Much of that Haiti money never made it to those who needed it but instead went to agencies and decision makers because after all...money is power. But I agree, we should focus on helping and healing our folks here in the U.S. God Bless America and God bless our service men and women, past and present, and their families who have sacificed so much to provide us the freedoms we enjoy. Happy Memorial Day Weekend all!

This all very orchestrated. What we are witnessing right now is the selling off of America. They have it set up just so in a manner that both changes opinion while draining the country of its money. Their endgame is collapse or restructuring, I'm almost certain of it.

It's called ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT broken down into two classes the upper class and the working class, and very few will be in the upper class. United States is the largest obstacle for them right now, but they are working on it very hard. That is why, in my opinion, we need to stand strong, and defend every right we have, don't give an inch. Our forefathers gave us this country, we need to keep it for ourselves and our children, and the ones after us.

That upper class is corporations that control the necessities of life. They control the resources. If they choose to extract the resources, woe to the people that live there. There is already a 'one world government', and it's multinational corporations that pull the strings of most national governments, ours included. So, how do we, working class people fight this?

Haiti is in trouble, because they overpopulated that tiny island and they have no resources left. They used up their resources. They cut down their trees, they lost their farmland thru erosion. Haiti is a microcosm of what will happen in the world soon at the rate we are going.

Oklahoma will be fine. They will rebuild. I hope this time they put safe room in their schools and neighborhoods, because this is going to happen again, and again.

As far as Hollywood, they don't move me one way or another. I don't buy into that narcissism. The entertainment industry did do a lot for Sandy relief, it wasn't just Haiti. If I give a donation, it isn't because some singer or movie star compelled me to do so, it is because it is the right thing to do, regardless of where the disaster occurs.

When it gets down to it unfortuantly our goverment will just write a check to fix it. crap NJ got 50 billion dollars..... the American people know this will happen that's why you dont see people donating to us when things happen in the US. Not saying it is the thing to do but it is Just reality. 3rd world country's just don't have the resorces to cut that kind of check and that is why you see people donate more to them.

The "blue hairs" at my former church loved to donate to overseas "needy". Whenever I suggested donating to help out a military family like Inor and I did (best Christmas ever), I got told that they aren't really in need. Same when I suggested helping out at one of the reservations (they don't need help, they have all those casinos). It was some sort of status thing to be able to say they built a house in Haiti or a school in Africa. One of reasons this is my former church.

Yeah, anybody who puts other countries before their own is a traitor plain and simple. I watched a TV news report about Moore yeaterday and learned many people in tornado alley want reinforced basements or shelters but they can't afford them.
Yet our western govts are pumping billions of taxpayers money into third world nations as "foreign aid", most of which goes into the pockets of corrupt regimes and warlords, it's a crazy old world..

Just consider this a blanket "Like" to all your posts. The Catholic Diocese in this area is building a 7 million dollar Office complex called the "Chancery". Yes. I said 7 million dollars. Guess who pays for it? The seniors that built this country. Now their getting fleeced in the name of charity to a religion. This isn't going to help the "needy". I told the priests here that I could line up a nice Morton building for under $300,000. Furnished (we have 4 thrift stores in town!). They thought it was a joke until I said I'd campaign agains the chancery and talk to the elderly about using thier social security checks to pay for thier meds instead. He didn't think that was funny at all. GRRRR. I'll leave it at that.

I am going to say some things... Some will agree some will find it offensive, but I feel it needs said.

1. Religion is the oldest and largest corporation in our world today, it sells the product of "Salvation" to the weak and simple minded, and then use the funds it collects in order to maintain its control and influence over the masses.
2. Corporations are beyond multiple times many more times powerful than our government. Their influence over legislation and law making is painfully obvious. Others then argue well the US Military can wipe out any corporation.
3. Which brings us to another point, security, military contractors, and R&D corps have deep seeded fire power. If you don't believe me take a look at Lockheed & Martin or Boe'ing two shining examples of mil spec developers who
have technology shelved or available which is 30 - 40 years or more advanced then what we currently see deployed today in the field around the world.
4. Governments have become an archaic system these days, and we are looking at a future one day where you belong to Walmart, AT&T, Apple, Sony or BMW corporate style government city states.
5. We are reversing back to an age of indentured servitude designed and crafted to ensure you never get out of debt, never own anything, and if you do it burns out every 2 years and requires replacement.
6. Thus keeping you on a short leash of control, in nearly every aspect of your daily life, from your food supply, to water, to any of the comforts we have socially been forced into accepting.
7. Socially forced, cause without the status items, of a tv, a cell phone, and other shit you could live without, you are ostracized and labeled socially unfit, therefore being left to comply or die, alone.

Now maybe I am being a little harsh or pessimistic on my outlook, and it may not be quiet that severe, but if you just look at it, it is obvious, and out in the open, and pretty much accepted. Mostly
cause the majority have been educated, manipulated, or forced to believe this is the only choice they have, and it is all for their own benefit.

I am saying this only cause I believe foreign aid is generally a device that is used by organizations for the same means to an end. Which means more centralization of power and basically steal from the poor and give to the rich methodology.

( I would also like to clarify, I believe personal faith is terrific, if you believe in something, all the better. If you don't that is fine to. I see organized religion as a bastardization of peoples personal faith.)

I thank you for your post and your input however I would like to clarify that if you are going to bash religion please do it elsewhere.

In some cases religion is all some find themselves to have left, Oklahoma being a perfect example. Losing there family they cars their house, everything and yet you still see some with hope, that hope being the driving determination and faith that their god is still watching over them even in the hard times... I feel if more people were to stop and take a look at the possibility that god uses things like this as a test rather than believing if god was truly real he would never let stuff like this happen...

The world is populating and destroying its natural beauty through expansion, who's to say that these disasters are not a balancing of man... Whos to say he isn't calling his home...

Thats my two sense.. Thank you for reading and if you feel the need to go against my wishes thats fine as well just know I dont really like the bashing because people cant find faith themselves

I was going to respond that about half of your rant was true but upon further scrutiny I don't agree with anything you said.

Thanks for using the list though, it made it easier to read.

Some organised religions and cults deserve a good bashing to set them straight, including some so-called "christian" ones..;)
No sweat, Jesus is onto them-
"Not all who call me "Lord,Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven. Then I'll tell them plainly, I never knew you, get away from me" (Matt 7:21-23)
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits... every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit...Therefore by their fruits you'll know them" (Matt 7:15-20)
Jesus said:-"Call nobody teacher except me" (Matt 23:8-10)

And elsewhere in the Bible-
"False apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ.." (2 Cor 11:13/14)
"Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit"- 2 Cor 2:17
"If anyone preaches a perverted gospel they're accursed" (Gal 1:6-9)
"Don't get carried away by strange teachings" (Heb 13:9)
"They want to win you over and alienate you from us" (Gal 4:17)
"Ungodly men have slipped in among you" (Jude 4)
"Lord, pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name" (Psalm 79:6)

Chaplain Charles J. Watters, posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, Dak To, Vietnam 1967

Citation- "For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. Chaplain Watters distinguished himself during an assault in the vicinity of Dak To.
Chaplain Watters was moving with one of the companies when it engaged a heavily armed enemy battalion. As the battle raged and the casualties mounted, Chaplain Watters, with complete disregard for his safety, rushed forward to the line of contact. Unarmed and completely exposed, he moved among, as well as in front of the advancing troops, giving aid to the wounded, assisting in their evacuation, giving words of encouragement, and administering the last rites to the dying.
When a wounded paratrooper was standing in shock in front of the assaulting forces, Chaplain Watters ran forward, picked the man up on his shoulders and carried him to safety. As the troopers battled to the first enemy entrenchment, Chaplain Watters ran through the intense enemy fire to the front of the entrenchment to aid a fallen comrade. A short time later, the paratroopers pulled back in preparation for a second assault. Chaplain Watters exposed himself to both friendly and enemy fire between the 2 forces in order to recover 2 wounded soldiers.
Later, when the battalion was forced to pull back into a perimeter, Chaplain Watters noticed that several wounded soldiers were lying outside the newly formed perimeter. Without hesitation and ignoring attempts to restrain him, Chaplain Watters left the perimeter three times in the face of small arms, automatic weapons, and mortar fire to carry and to assist the injured troopers to safety. Satisfied that all of the wounded were inside the perimeter, he began aiding the medics--applying field bandages to open wounds, obtaining and serving food and water, giving spiritual and mental strength and comfort. During his ministering, he moved out to the perimeter from position to position redistributing food and water, and tending to the needs of his men. Chaplain Watters was giving aid to the wounded when he himself was mortally wounded. Chaplain Watters' unyielding perseverance and selfless devotion to his comrades was in keeping with the highest traditions of the U.S. Army"

Chaplain Watters is one of seven chaplains to receive the Medal of Honor.

BetrayedAmerican - Like I said I have no problem with people believing in something, or having faith. I myself have my own beliefs, I just don't like when the same systems meant for support of people are twisted to oppress or use people. P.S. I hope you don't leave the forum.

Leon - Lol, you have a heart some where in your toolbox that I could have sir Oz?

Montana Rancher - Careful there, if you started to agree with me, you might tear a whole in the time space continuum. Would be an interesting SHTF scenario, and an even more funny catalyst.

In a STHF scenario two prepper's meet at a water well...

Prepper1: You know I always thought it would be solar flares, that caused this.
Prepper2: I thought it would be economic collapse...

Prepper1: Who ever thought it would be two knuckle heads on a forum finally agree'ing on something.
Prepper2: I Know right.

When Argentina collapsed in 2000/1 they had a 55% middle class. Today its 15% and the 40% out of the middle of the class didn't join the rich. I found this post spot on compelling. The upper middle class in America is very much in their way - I mean look at the poor in America they don't even consider them poor.

It's called ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT broken down into two classes the upper class and the working class, and very few will be in the upper class.
