So where is this global warming that some are so concerned about? Now it isn't "Global Warming" it's "Climate Change". If there is a hurricane, it's because of "Climate Change". If there is a tornado, it's because of "Climate Change". If it's hot outside it's because of "Climate Change", if it's cold outside, "Climate Change". Here is some shocking news, the climate is ALWAYS changing. There has not been ANY significant warming of the Earth in nearly 18 years. The past hurricane season has been one of the mildest in history. The Arctic Ice is larger now then it has been in the last 100 years. Al Gore, the spokesman for Global Change travels everywhere in a private jet, his home uses 25 times as much power as the average household, and he paid millions of dollars for a private beach side compound in California, the beach where he said will soon be under water. Think "con-artist". And what seems to be the answer to the "problem"? High taxes, Government control of the power industry, and the redistribution of wealth from the industrialized countries to the 3rd World Countries. Of course the largest polluter nation in the World, China, is exempt.

As I sit in front of a fire posting this, I for one am disappointed. Here I was promised that Winters were just going to get warmer and warmer. I even bought extra pair of shorts and was planning on wearing them and a T-shirt while I was outside grilling my Christmas dinner, and if I tried it as of now I would freeze my cojones off. It would appear that I might have been lied to. What's the World coming to? If you can't trust your elected officials, who can you trust? Everyone knows that a politician would never LIE to you.

It has been proven that in many cases, global warming causes deep freezes in some areas of the world due to the effect of disproportionate distribution of heat across the globe, and the shutdown of the oceans' heat distribution properties.

Case in point- England is roughly the same latitude North as mainland Canada. So, why is Canada a snowy, frozen tundra, while England has warm and cold seasons that are stable cycles? It is because of the North Atlantic Current that draws warm water and air from the equator North to the southern edge of the arctic ocean. This warm current is what regulates the climate in the region. Climate change has the ability to "turn off" this current, which would make England look like Canada. Global climate is far too complicated of a system for humans, even with powerful computers, to accurately understand, and thus we have no ability predict what could or will happen when we interfere with such a complicated system.

It also has been proven that global warming is a hoax..For every one scientist that believes in it there is another that says its not true.. the fact is none knows what the earth cycle is since we only been here a 1 second in the overall history. Its another door to open for the government to have a reason to tax you and control another aspect of your life.

You failed to read the current talking points.
1. It is not Global warming anymore it is Climate change
2. They revised it to say it must get colder before it warms up
With 1 and 2 now the understanding it proves they are right.
You see liberals are entitled to their own facts in even in science .

Make no mistake about it. Climate change is not a threat to the Earth. The Earth, and the life on it, has withstood millions of years of wildly swinging climate change. Multiple ice-ages, multiple cosmic events, even the release of billions of tons of explosive, toxic, and climate-changing gas, known as oxygen, pumped into the atmosphere. The Earth, and life, has survived it all. When we talk about modern climate change, it is the human species that is in peril. If we manage to succeed in making this planet unfit for our own existence, and cause the extinction of our own species, rest assured, life will go on without us.

Thousands of factories and millions of cars pumping out muck into the atmosphere can't be doing the natural balance much good

Y'all just don't understand. Global warming is real. Why just look at the dinosaurs. They refused to give up their SUV's and look what happened to them! If they would have just spent the money on electric cars, they would still be here.

Schools here in Wisconsin teach long before man this area was covered in Glaciers. As they MELTED they cut a path and drifted south carving out what is now Wisconsin. Ok so I buy that . Next question teacher why did the ice melt? Global warming of course dumb student.
Ok teacher was it the coal plants or SUV's that caused it. Dumb student there were none of those then. Teacher that is my point.
You are a trouble maker back to indoctrination for you.

If you suggested cleaner air I could agree with you, but as for global warming they (factories, cars, man) don't even come close to a single volcano eruption.

When the California "air quality" board was formed decades ago it was loaded with industrialist, farmers, and environuttjobs. I was in a position to influence an appointment to the board and was asked to plea for a farmer who was a friend of my dads so of course I did. Little did I realize that air quality impacts, at that time, were 39% cars, 31% farms and 30% industry. The AQB soon became fixated on cars as the great evil and the auto industry did a pretty good job of reducing vehicle emissions. I heard they, cars, are getting close to. 30% now and there are a lot more of them out there. Farmers and industry were the ones running scared, for it's harder for them to make a change.

Change is hard, and very scary to some, but it must happen non the less. Without the courage to change, we would all still be chasing wildebeests across the savannahs.

Change is fine I am am not against protecting the environment. I am a farm and land owner.
What I am against is dishonest politics and groups using it to push their brand of socialism.
It is a fact UW systems made it clear when professors expressed doubt and concern over Global warming,
they forced them to sign on of lose their funding and their position.
With in 24 hours everyone of them signed on.

I agree that human greed has infiltrated the noble cause of us trying to save ourselves from extinction, which is probably why it won't work in the end. Humans have an innate need to destroy themselves.

All the work, all the green projects, all of the taxes and wealth redistribution that the "sky if falling" global warming goons push goes down the tube with the eruption of one decent sized volcano. I really don't see how taking money away from me and giving it to some smuck in Bangladesh is somehow gong to save the world. Notice that when they talk about the "scientists" who support the THEORY of global warming, they don't mention what TYPE of scientists they are referring to, nor do they explain who they consider a scientist. Would it surprise anyone that amongst these esteemed "scientists" are high school math, chemistry, and biology teachers? Why not strictly ask the climatologists, you know, the CLIMATE scientists? Could it be that they aren't nearly as one sided in their opinions as some people would like us to believe? How about they were evenly divided, but now they are strongly starting to swing towards believing that the whole global warming theory is bogus.

The whole global warming thing is a shovel ready project of government intervention. It isn't about warming or cooling it's about control. They want the ability to tell you what do when to do it and for how long you should do it. Has nothing to do with the weather. In that regard I suspect they could care less.

I for one feel that the whole green initiative is about control. If the Gov can control the carbon footprint of everything in the US, they can control what we pay for ev erything we buy. Besides, I thought the temperature across the world would be 109F by now

I remember seeing critics of GW being blasted for work for evil corporations, but those critics had no trouble working for the biggest corp of all....GOVT.

For those of you looking for global warming, I'll tell you where it is.

It's in Al Gore's closet, hidden among the millions of dollars he has swindled from the gullible.
