A long fascination with the art. There are two different ones Ninjutsu and Ninjitsu. I forget the difference between them right now.

It was an extraordinary book. I gained a smattering of the Japanese language from it. On a cruise once some Japanese nationals were seated with us, and at least I was able to be polite. Good book and movie. Interesting culture. Excellent warriors.

Yep, and their women are hot! I had a thing for that actress who was attached to Chamberlain in the movie/show.

I follow the art of Ruger, Colt , Mossberg and Remington far more effective and less screwing around. But he baddest axx fighters I have ever really seen fight is a well trained Wrestler that could also use his fist. Beat the ninja every time.

I have practiced Tae Kwon Do, and wrestling, with a smidge of Aikiado. But I am best when I practice with .357 Magnums, .45 Automatics and 12 gauges. :tango_face_wink:

I was a ninja long time ago, and before that I was Spiderman.

The difference between ninjitsu and ninjutsu is an I and a U, and between you and I the they’re not martial arts. The ninja were foot soldiers in samurai ranks that specialized in some kind of skill set, ninpo, tanpo, taijutsu (joint lock wrestling), etc. Jitsu / Jutsu are just words that mean method of. Method of infiltration. Method of disguise. Method of joint locking. You get it. There are three or four legit people in this otherwise wacky world, look up Anshu Christina Jacobs. She’s legit.

Will agree. A college type wrestler who can throw a punch is highly dangerous.
