I mulled over how to bring this up. I heard recently that a standing general expects the US to be in direct conflict with China by 2025. Now if you've been keeping up on military news, you'll know China has been purchasing armor to defeat the 556 round, as well as gearing their training & weapons to fight the US directly.

Now while all that's something I'm keeping an eye on, I realize I'm not going to be on the front lines of this. Queue all the "what if ur drafted" comments.

So, assuming that the front line doesn't come to me, meaning the fighting is either mostly in a foreign theater, or on the US borders, from what I've learned about past wars, just the US being involved in a serious conflict with another major country can be more than enough to cause a fecal-matter+air-mover type event here at home.

I akin it to WW2, as I imagine with all the globally enabled supplies we rely on here at home, a major conflict might limit what remains available & readily renewable.

While I may not be shooting commies off my front porch, I might realistically be pointing my rifle at a Karen at my door who thinks me storing up food for me & mine is "hording all the food that should be shared".

Now to be clear, I'm not against helping my fellow man & assisting others in need, but I do see the possibility of others who are less prepared suddenly finding themselves without some things.

I think should a major war break out, one like we've not seen in many years, the biggest impact we'll likely see is a shortage of supplies & a rise in stress of those of weaker wills & disposition

What do you think, oh wise ones?

Despite China having the largest infantry & naval fleet, their main means of attack is cyberwarfare, and economic (think of all those knock offs of theirs in Amazon, & textiles). For them to attack the USA, the US would have to do something like take 'possession' of Taiwan.

Russia would be a more likely candidate under Putin's rule and the attack would be due to our interference crossing a NATO agreement, the line in the sand.

What does it mean for you?

That solely depends on your location, & and who attacking the US.

Expect high: food prices (and food shortages), utility bills, gas fuel. airflights being canceled, Martial Law in states being hit, curfews, and military presence.

Crap wait, are we already in war?

That's why I have a 300 win mag, lol. Besides most large game hunters have a rifle that will defeat body armor. Would be mass slaughter for the troops coming across most rural land.

In my thinking a major war starts you have what you have. There will be no more stocking up or getting supplies. Supply lines as we know it will be gone especially if it hits our shores.

So with no food in the utopia cities you need to prepare for the mass hordes of entitled people pillaging the country side. Each will do what their hearts and faith demand. Me I've learn through experience what to do. I bought a backhoe for the tractor.

All we need to watch is the videos in the cities of the burning, violence and looting. That's what you will be dealing with at your front door. With a flip of a switch our power grids are gone. Then 90% mortality rate after that the first year. According to what I've read. That's the first thing anyone starting a war with the US would do. IMHO..

Don't worry about a karen. Keep an eye on your government. Several years ago a few executive orders were issued giving the feds the authority to seize horded items needed by the community as a whole to survive. I'm sure if you tell them to buzz off they will say they're sorry and won't bother you ever again.

They will do like the Russians did in Ukraine in the late 20s.

And it will go to help everyone. Not for some 🥳🎉 elites

I hope China is planning this poorly.
The first batches of the XM7 will be delivered near the end of 2023. If China is still planning on defending against M4s firing 5.56, they'll be unpleasantly surprised.
The new 6.8x51 will absolutely wreck anything that is designed to protect against 5.56x45. It will also outrange Chinese infantry with their current loadout.
If you want to be on par with our fighting forces by 2025, start gearing up with the .277 SIG FURY out of a SIG MCX-SPEAR.

Be warned, cost could be prohibitive.

“Mass slaughter…”. Yeah. You’d last about .5 seconds after you shot the first one.

The fantasies on here are never ending.

You seem to need the negative side of the fantasies a lot? Curious that?
No group, wife, kid, skin in the game?
Like one of the many who's plan is "surrender" from the start?

As heavily invested in the US Dollar that China is, I don't expect much in the way of a "war".
Besides, they need the American people to keep buying their poorly made crap.

I don't follow the news very closely at all. Which general made this prediction?

I had an office in China for a couple of years. They are a unique community. The truly woke ones realize they are not free but it's very similar to the current state of the US. The sheeple, the masses don't realize they are being controlled
and played.

As far as I am concerned, they are in bed with Biden and the libs. He does not care if America as we know it
is destroyed. Having gotten to know the culture, they are gradually taking over many countries and regions
daily via small, medium, and large businesses. From what I have read, they own a lot of the US farmland just like Gates, conquer our food supply and really control people

Right? So not worth your effort.
You'd probably be better served elsewhere.

🔮 China war day 1: China cuts off shipments of prescription drugs and everything else USA needs for daily life - America surrenders
Hahaha! You must be young? No, china cuts off shipments and "oh everybody that took pills died?" as my grandmother said.

Besides, Its open trading now and there will still be drugs, they'll just come from whatever butt hole country our govt is propping up and using. Squibs will easily buy anything and they don't care where It comes from (communist goals - no morals or ethics in trade, trade with anybody)

YOU may surrender? But America won't. It will just buy in and struggle until our factories are open again. I still have a few chinese swords because American forge is awfully costy....but the chin steel will be replaced by American, I know two other guys working with me on that now and i will be back manufacturing swords and spears for the first time since nafta, that ruined me and my brother's shop and drove me back to medicine. I got a score to settle with more than chinese and its way overdue. If Mexico and China cant live without us, good? That's the real deal? Don't like em and even if they registered on the richter scale, i care about my country and not about others.

I dont think people even know how rank stinking it sounds to say we "depend" on anything. I don't even think they get what a bad idea it is, but maybe they will if it craps out? I could live on grub food long enough for china, mexico and all of them to "find their own way" and if the US really wants squibs, how come they vaxxed em?

"China cuts off shipments and American society improves while china gets less overpopulated as well"

WI had 600k hunters this year, MI 700k, PA 750k and over a million alone in TX. Add those numbers up through out the US and you don't think it would be a slaughter?? There would be a multi million man army shooting at the invaders. If we all got just one.

Open that mouth and remove all doubt.

I'm glad that many of you know what a massive threat China is. Lots of folks are worried about Russia, Iran, ect. Not to downplay Russia as a threat but China is who we should all be keeping close eye on. We need to stop selling them our land, businesses and supplies.
Russia is an Ally compared to China ;) The libs are allied with Our Worst Enemy which is why they shout 'Russia!' 😱

You do realize that this new round is almost the same as the 284 Winchester
