There is another two in my Cherokee with the Mod. 12 riot.

I find that they need to be replaced every 4 or 5 years, elastics get weak or oxidizes.

Weaponized belts? Christ. I worked in corrections for a few years. Given enough time, and motivation, you can weaponize anything.
If you can, take a tour of your local jail or prison. Talk to the folks that work there. Boy, will you be surprised...

Weaponized Q-Tip

I am thoughtful of having items on me that can be used as a weapon while I am at work and typically wear a large belt. Also usually a few pens, and a few do-dads on my key chain, as in my line of work you do run into violent veterans. I have worked in juvenile corrections in the past as well, and almost anything can be a weapon, including paper-clips.

I had an NRA buckle on a heavy leather belt years ago; and I am pretty sure that I could have cracked a skull with it. A belt will work, but under limited conditions. Right now I am thinking that if I took my belt, and snapped a padlock onto the buckle, I could break an arm with it. But, I don't have a padlock handy, so there is another plan shot to Hell.:tango_face_grin:
