Spencer Jones Bathroom Brawl Update: His Lawyer Says He was Trying to Be a 'Peacekeeper.' The Guy Who Beat the Bag Out of Him Begs to Differ


Personal Note: The MMA guy just beat the blazes out of a punk football player.


Advisory: There is a lot of cussing by some bystanders.
And the MMA fighter fractured the football players eye socket , it had to be rebuilt.

Dr. Perry Brooks of Norman, whose website says he specializes in facial reconstruction, performed a four-hour outpatient operation Tuesday, Feb. 16 in which he rebuilt Jones’ left orbital socket. ...

Glass also said the cause of the altercation is still murky, but that Jones was “trying to be a peacekeeper.”

The video begins with Jones telling his assailant to “Get the f*** out of here,” before the perpetrator wiped blood from his face on Jones and initiated his attack.

“He was trying to de-escalate that situation,” Glass told The Daily. “But unfortunately, it wasn’t de-escalated despite his best efforts, and he became the victim of this vicious assault you’ve seen.”


Personal note: The video tells its own tale, it looked like the football player was at fault. I don’t think that the orbital bone is all that hard to break, but the lawyer will paint it as heinous. And the lawyer is an abject liar.

I added a poll, asking if you would fight, my answer was yes: and I think that the MMA black belt did the proper thing. And I loved watching it.

I looked at what the fighters did, and the MMA guys used locking moves: with really hard punching.
They threw their arms around their opponents necks and chests, and rendered them powerless. It’s almost impossible to throw punches when you are locked up that way. Plus, the MMA fighters busted their lights out, and that’s how you win a fight.

There are a multitude of ways to lose a fight,eg, just don’t fight, and you lose by default.
That won’t do you any good in a brawl, brought on by some pugnacious butt wipe. If you are being attacked then defend.

The football players are 100% at fault, and they deserved to get their lights busted out. Messing with people that you don’t know will get you killed. It seems like they should know that by their age.
