Well, for whatever it is, it has come to pass. No amount of whining or crying or even anger will change it. Our country is now forever gone. It is no longer recognizable as a democracy any longer. I feel that as I am in my mid - 60's, it has been going this way for a very long time.

I also feel it is our own fault , for allowing the loonies get a hand in politics at all. When you saw the few who govern the many starting to get out of line, nobody really did much at all. Everyone simply said, "glad I don't live in that state or town "

I really doubt that anyone will be fully prepared for what is coming down and now at an even faster rate. I also think that for what is about to happen, it is going to be a very bad ride and not the "wild ride" that so many have posted. Most of you live in the cities, due to numerous things, mostly good jobs. Well, I hate to say this, but when the sh.. really hits the fan and in a big way, you will most likely perish with all the other people.

When there are no more free goobernut handouts, especially food, what do you think will happen ? Well, I think that there will be riots that would make Greece look like a playground fight. Just imagine 5 million freeloaders in say NY city all of a sudden finding out that their welfare checks / ebt cards are no good . This has been going on for several years and O Great One simply tied the knot. The noose is hanging and all we need do now is insert our necks.

Our economy will spiral down at a speed that only a fighter jock could comprehend. Every time some "progressive" clown is voted into office we become more and more complacent and just "go on about our business" That won't fix anything. Maybe it is good that this country will fall by the wayside. Who knows ? Only history will know the answer to that question. Will we go like Rome ? Or like Greese ? 37' depression, I think that will be like kids play compared to that.

Just think about it, back then when the depression hit, people had a code of ethics, which a large amount of this country hasn't got. People would shovel sh.. before they stold or killed anyone. Not anymore. Now, for a couple of dollars or a laptop, you could be dead. So what do you think will happen when there is no longer free food or rent ? At that point , I am willing to bet that no more then 5% of our entire population will survive. You see, one thing brings on another bad thing. No money, food, jobs, also means no police, Dr's, ambulances, fire trucks and all the other things most need to survive on a daily basis.

Right now, little Johnie falls and gets a boo boo and you run him to the emergency room. When I was a little feller, and fell etc got a boo boo, my grandma or grandpa put the metholiate to it. I even saw my grandma sew up a really serious tear in grandpa's leg. Oh he did drink a little bourban to keep the pain down, but honestly , how many are prepared now to do that ?

I know that this is all doom and gloom, but do you honestly see any other end for this new happening ? I see no silver lining , and in fact don't even see the clouds it is supposed to come out of.

I have seen articiles on the news, where in Calif has banned smoking in your own back yard so as not to injure or annoy your neighbors. Really ? Talk about losing your freedoms, and fast, yet I did'nt hear any body complaining or fighting it. It's not just smoking I am talking about, it is your freedom's. Pretty soon, I can see freedom of speech being " guarded for your best intrests" including this and all other similar type boards.

But happen it will. Now, even sooner then before. Hope you got lots of fire extingishers handy, as your going to need them.

Great post, I agree. Our debt cannot be controlled any more, people are mean and evil and we have leadership that is doing the opposite of our founding fathers.
For those of us that are prepared, we most likely have not done enough....my 2c.

This was, at one time, a constitutional republic. It was stolen decades ago and we didn't have enough knowledge to see it go. We should have, but prosperity made us ignorant.

I agree, and from what I've been learning it seems to have started in about 1915 or so when the progressives really got into the gov't. Income tax, the FED, and then got worse with FDR, Soc. Security etc.....

My only disagreement isn't that this is what "we deserve" that one earlier poster replied...... rather it is what "we get" when too many of our countrymen and women "compromise" their principles for the deal (which ever one it happens to be at the time).

Every time the Conservative compromises, the progressives take one more step towards power and control.... do they ever back up? No.....

Our founding documents give us the right to alter or abolish a tyrannical government and replace it. Sometimes I wonder if they left out specifics on how the altering and abolishing comes about for a reason. Maybe it's not what we would do should the shtf...but what should be done to preserve democracy and freedom. We are the last greatest hope on earth for those gifts. Preparing for such an event is a great thing, but what then? Life will go on long after we've survived and left behind generations to carry on. My greatest concern, is what would we leave them with? Just food for thought.

They left nothing out. The 2nd amendment to the constitution of the united states of America is the answer to tyranny. That is exactly why it was spelled out.
We have the right and duty to rebel against tyranny and arbitrary rule.

Thing of it is, aren't we electing it? You might claim you voted for the other major party, therefore you didn't want this. too bad, as there was no reason to believe the other party was going to abide by the constitution. Any ballot cast for either was a vote against the rule of law, and a vote for extra-constitutional rule by regulation and code.

I agree with many of your stances. Our spending is unsustainable, to say the least. Now that the Marxist has been re-elected, there is no chance that we can get our spending/debt under control.

Since the main stream media has done a masterful job of propandizing the masses, I believe that we are beyond the tipping point. With ever increasing Latin populations, Florida and Texas are well on their ways to turning perma blue. Once that happens, we will have a single arty rule.

Our debt is So out-of-control that China stopped loaning us money years ago (can you blame them?). The LibTards are incapable of curbing their spending. If they cannot spend like crazy, they cannot buy votes. As such, it really s just a matter of time before our economy explodes. So I am starting to prep. I'll be darned if my family is going to starve or go unprotected.

I think that we will go by the way of the dinosaurs at a point and time just around the next corner. Can most of you imagine what will happen when the goobernut cannot give all the money out to the food stamp people that have never worked a day in their worthless lives.

What will happen then ? Well, the population of our country is round and about the 300mill. mark I believe, so to be safe , lets just say that the people who on on the goobernut dole, never worked a day in their lives number around 25 million. Lets also just suppose that most of the gimmie crown live in the larger populated cities, hmmmmm What do you think will be the end result when the money tree has shed all its leaves ? Sure glad I don't live anywhere close to one of those places.
