id like to do a run & gun / movment range preferably cheap.
ill probly be using ballons, old cans & paper plates for targets. i wouldent mind incorporationg a switch from rifle to pistol. does anyone have input on how to set it up &/or senarios.
i want to train on magazine drop & reload, reflexive fire, & shooting while your heart rate is up (so ill be throwing a sprint in there somewhere).
but also be safe, ive done a few of these before but the people ill be shooting with later havent, so maybe someone could sugget crawl, walk, run stages.
woo hoo trainin!

Look up the NRA. They have a range program. Or is this just for you? There is a HUGE difference between a range for your personal use and one you might charge someone to use. The later is not low cost thanks to the lawyers and politicos.

We generally set up a jungle alley with 10 paper targets and 5 steel poppers. After a 100 yard sprint and negotiating an 8 foot wall we make a 100 yard cold bore shot then head into the alley. 4 magazines with 5 rounds each. The instructor sets up a couple of failures in the mags for drills. At some point the student runs dry and has to transition to his sidearm. the whole time he is being yelled at and shot at with Airsoft pellets. An artillery simulator announces the end of the course. The muddier the better. For snipers we throw in some land navigation exercises and field craft.

Umm, hate to be a killjoy, but, as a suggestion, you should first research what happens to your homeowner insurance policy first. I can tell you from experience what will happen. And don't ask your insurance agent - research it online.

You set up a firing range on your property and your insurer finds out they will cancel your policy faster than you can say goodbye....

You bring invitees/friends to your "range" you will risk losing everything you own in a lawsuit if anyone is injured. Everything you own, and garnishment of any future wages until you pay the entire judgment against you off....
