I have a tote that I am filling with different braces. You can pick them up for next to nothing at yard/estate/garage sales.

Same with me. I have collected a wheelchair several crutches braces and slings.

Just never know.

Or we could just use the harness. We could be safety minded when we do things. My brain runs on "what ifs" especially when there is no one to help. But I guess we all learn at some point. I too am collecting braces and splints the Sam splints are pretty cool.

A major injury post SHTF - TEOTWAWKI is a death sentence.
I broke my back and right heel bone this week. I went to the hospital got X-rays- CT scans and sent home with pain meds.
Basically I am useless. I can’t put weight on my right leg and I can’t bend, twist, or lift.
If this had happened to me post WOTROL I would be toast.
Laying on your ass gives you too much time to think. All my preps, guns, ammo wouldn’t do me a lick of good.

Prepping means nothing if your health goes south. You then have a huge supply for someone else to take. Medical supplies and health maintenance is the most overlooked part of prepping.
