Knot what I wanted to here, but it's worth it's weight in GOLD.I had a Spikes rifle. It had more slop and shake than any AR I've ever had, they used Aero receivers on mine that had pot marks all over and used DPMS parts kit on it. There are much better rifles out there in my opinion for the same or close money.
I'd take a Rock River, Stag, Windham or S&W any day over one.

I don't be wanting no commie crude POSI had an AR back in the late 70's, fun gun, but I couldn't afford all the ammo I shot as it was to hard to keep that little switch on semi, so it's long gone. Wish I still had it now but wishes are to expensive to fullfill nowadays. Now it's my el cheapo AK that's always semi and it's fun to shoot too. Much easier to keep clean and has always gone bang with each trigger pull. Regardless of what many say I can't have it all and as much as I hate to compromise I have. The AK fills a want / need for me and I no longer need the cool look to get me through. $800 will buy a lot of 7.62 ammo for my not quite cool AK.
Your money your choice, enjoy your AR.I don't be wanting no commie crude POS
I've been seeing a few big name gun kits with "ATI" in the order code, meaning American Tactical Imports.I had a Spikes rifle. It had more slop and shake than any AR I've ever had, they used Aero receivers on mine that had pot marks all over and used DPMS parts kit on it.
