Hello kind sir. Before I address your question, I would like to express where this opinion derives from:
Whether a person buys from a custom builder, famous maker, commercial grade, consumer grade, or at their local Dollar store, the consumer buys the product based on possible personal guidelines: size, color, shape, features, price, brand, warranty, durability, etc.. No two people are likely to have the exact same requirements on all fronts, but they will share some aspects of guidelines.

I have been going through my closets, tool drawers. and cabinets and checking on the functionality of all my equipment (after some) being in storage for so many years. Power tools like Craftsman, and the older power tools of Black & Decker (not newer tools, they were a good tool maker back in the day) were still recharging or functioning within parameters. Sadly though, some of my equipment that I tried saving a buck on like my Stanely staple gun (brand name is good, I just bought the cheapest model is all), one of my rechargeable drills, few crescent wrenches, flashlights, world radio, etc., all ended up being damaged from long term storage.
Because of Stanely's Rock Solid Warranty, and since they no longer make something this light duty, they replaced it for me free of charge with a more heavy-duty version. Other than that, all my other failed equipment got junked.
Most of all that was junked were electronics based. I heard someone mention getting solar panels from Amazon and I agree with Trihonda hold heartedly that isn't the best option unless you are choosing a Name brand, & even then careful on the seller you get it from.
We have a Harbor Freight store here in NY. The only big price tag item I ever bought there was a generator, & usually went in when they had unbelievable sales on hand trucks, Mover's dollies, work gloves, tarps, LED flashlights, etc.. Everything that I bought there that was not electronical still functions a decade later, but all the electronics (with exception of multimeters & alternator testers) are all dead as a doornail.
Considering your Solar panel does not have electronic components, this may be a solid purchase.
Does it have weight? yes
Is it too bulky to pack? meh
Would I carry a Solar panel with me? Yep
Conclusion:
As i mentioned in my opening statement, people have several factors that influence what they purchase. For me, I would personally prefer something different, something Military/NASA grade if it was intended to be used for a survival situation. That is me though, and does not mean that over the years that this is going to leave you high and dry, fact it may run perfectly without problems. I just would prefer the peace of mind having a brand name that I know and trust. Mind you, my primary personal guideline is always Durability, or should i say a "Pattern" of having a companies' products being called durable.
If you changed your criteria of your initial question and changed it to " what do you think of this solar panel for everyday stuff?" my reply would be "Holy crap, 25% off a Solar panel that is already at a discounted tool store, nice!!!
Ignoring "Long-Term durability" Many of the reviews I have read on this specific product are good, a few even saying, that these solar panels, and I quote, "Are Bad @$$".
Trihonda, I am not sure if you are using this addon software to your browser, but it is called the Capital One Shopping app link
Capital One Shopping
Using that app I came across the same panel New condition, free shipping & handling & tax free if you are not from NY going for under $50

I am not sure if Harbor Freight does "Price Matching" but if they do, maybe this can save you an additional $15 on your purchase with HF, if so, glad I could help.
BTW, ty for posting this, I may pick one up myself if I can get it for $50. (sadly got to pay taxes since I live in NY too)
