remember this list and vote against them. This is the group of people who don't represent you but represent themselves and do what they must to stay in office. Not what the people want!

McConnell and Sens. John Cornyn (Texas), Kelly Ayotte (N.H.), Deb Fischer (Neb.), Rob Portman (Ohio), John Thune (S.D.), Orrin Hatch (Utah), Jeff Chiesa (N.J.), Roger Wicker (Miss.), Thad Cochran (Miss.), Pat Toomey (Pa.), Lamar Alexander (Tenn.), John Hoeven (N.D.), Richard Burr (N.C.), Rand Paul (Ky.), Susan Collins (Maine), Jerry Moran (Kan.), Roy Blunt (Mo.), Dan Coats (Ind.), Dean Heller (Nev.) and Saxby Chambliss (Ga.)

I have already emailed my traitor John Cornyn (Texas), to let him know I will be funding his opponent in the next election.

The one that shocks me is Rand Paul. I can't believe he did that.

Disappointing, but I can understand their position. A government shutdown doesn't do the Republicans any good, and it won't result with Obamacare being defunded. That's not going to happen until the Dems loose the Senate, and even then, it's doubtful.

For a complete list of traitors we have to include everyone of them that voted for TARP back in 2008, and every debt ceiling increase since, and approval of Fed chairmen, Secretary of Treasure, SEC director, etc. There is a very short list of reliable pro-citizen congressmen. Both parties are corrupt to the core and working to suck all the money out of us and keep themselves and corporate cronies living in luxury. This is the face of fascism emerging in our country and very, very few politicians are making any attempt to stop it. The majority of politicians are just fine with turning citizens into indentured servants or serfs.

My Senator is not on the list. But where do you get off presupposing the strategy I believe is best.

I detest Obamacare but I also think Cruz is every bit the idiot Obama is. One is laying left one is laying right and both have the other's straw in their mouth.

We sometimes think that the Republican Party is on the side of conservatism and / or the Constitution. Actually, the Democrats are outright Communist Party and the Republicans used to be Socialist Lite. Maybe most of them are not traitors, but rather doing what the Republicans have been doing all along.

It was Secretary of State, William Seward, a Republican, who issued a proclamation, illegally certifying the ratification of the 14th Amendment

It was President William Howard Taft, a Republican, who URGED Congress to pass the 16th Amendment (which, BTW was done illegally) which is known as the income tax. And the income tax is a plank directly out of the Communist Manifesto

It was a Republican, Senator Nelson W. Aldrich, who drafted the legislation known as the Federal Reserve Act

It was under a Republican, Ronald Reagan, that the future manufacture of full auto weapons for civilian use was banned. It was the elder George Bush, a Republican, who started the semi - auto import ban after he burned his NRA membership card in front of tv cameras.

It was a Republican, George Bush, who forced the so - called "Patriot Act" through Congress and repealed the Bill of Rights. That was the legislation that made warrant - less searches possible and the sudden thump in the night by armed Jack Booted Thugs raiding your house and killing you without the benefit of due process a reality.

It was a Republican Senator James Sensenbrenner, who authored the Real ID Act AND introduced the so - called "Patriot Act."

Now, let's talk about the latest bunch of Republicans. Rand Paul endorsed Mitch McConnell. McConnell's liberal voting record includes, but is not limited to:

"abortion funding, bailouts, debt limit increases, gun control and tax increases."

McConnell's challenger is a Tea Party activist. So, Rand Paul wants to be an Establishment Republican. McConnell ought to join Obama and the Dems.

Senator Cornyn endorsed Arlen Specter over a Tea Party activist. Arlen Specter - was Cornyn drunk? OR is Cornyn an Establishment liberal?

Both of my U.S. Senators stood against Ted Cruz on Obamacare. You can bet your arse they will not ever hold public office in Georgia without my strongest public condemnation for their actions. I would go on, but you get the drift. Establishment Republicans aren't traitors; they are merely Socialist Lite - they want to be Democrats, but prey upon our emotions in order to make the playing field look equal.

"Establishment Republicans" who claim to be conservative and pull the crap they pull are TRAITORS. But I agree, most of them are indeed socialists.
That's why we need a REAL conservative party with no-BS rules.
Active politicians join via their voting record.
All those that get in, don't vote conservative and you're outta there.
It'll take a while, but what else can we do?

I second your idea and add we can quit voting for the lesser of two evils. The Republicans keep telling us that if we don't vote for them, it's like voting for a Democrat. But, given their records, either way we're currently voting for Democrats.

I would like to see someone like Cruz move over to the libertarian party, we need more than the two bad choices we are frequently saddled with. I think the libertarians have the best chance of becoming a viable party over the New Whig party or constitution party. The Republican party has become another big government catastrophe lately.

upwards of 48% of the population on some form of welfare ( not paying Taxes
let see how much of the population is incarcerated (not paying Taxes
population actually employed by some form of govt recently exceeded the private sector
so less than 25% of the entire population including children and retirees produce something that can be taxed to support the entire welfare system, the entire incarceration system and all forms of local state and federal govt, and foreign aid. it seems to me that all politicians should have to pass some basic math course before being sworn into office or even allowed to run for office. so for all of you out there paying taxes in the private sector you are supporting 3 other people. being one person employed by the govt and 2 people on welfare or incarcerated not counting dictators and other cronies in foreign countries. Hey on sell now at your local military base 500.00 toilets seats are now going for the low price of 2 for 499.99

And the guys in the middle..they got us where we are today. They compromised our government and rights down the toilet. Cruz has the balls to stand up and say no more. He's my senator and I'm behind him 100%.

Yup.. I'd agree. The democrat/progressives are better known as liberal fascist. Communist in sheeps clothing. The republican are not much better as you've pointed out. The reality is they all need to go. Most are traitors to the American people and have violated their fiduciary responsibilities
As well as their pledge to uphold the constitution.

However, in the situation, we have "supposed" republicans that are the worst. Traitors to the people and their party.

But then again probably not.. Just lining their pockets and keeping their jobs... And that isn't being a test or to the party. It's what they do.

Say there are two independent units. The goal is to take an enemy strong hold. Together they can not only take the stronghold but win the war.

One commander is advocating for an all out assault the other is for laying siege.

There is an argument the commander for laying siege is called a coward and disloyal. And the one unit leads an assault. Seventy percent of his men are killed most of the others wounded. The ability to lay siege is reduced.

Over time the siege is successful but it is the commander leading the assault that becomes the folk hero. He, Cruz, is elected leader of all opposition forces but never gains the strength to win the war.

yeah well neither does kicking the can down the road. That's how we got to 17.2 trillion in debt a health care reform that's going to kill the middle class and make most of us part timers, compromise has been killing us for years instead of doing whats right! Sooner or later the bill is gonna come due on this train wreck and we are the ones that are going to be stuck with the tab, not them...

No one is talking about compromise. First Obamacare will be its own worst enemy. Second having this fight over the debt ceiling vote is strategical the best time to have this fight. Third rather than try and fail to take Obamacare down all at once requiring everyone all government employees and elected officials be subject to Obamacare will likely pass with some Democrat votes. Fourth many Obama supporters, from the unions to Buffett, are against Obamacare and believe it must be scraped.

The only person that benefited from the fight Cruz picked was cruel. He damaged the Republican party's more than the Democrats ever could.

One can grandstand for fools and always get 20% support.
