Just a friendly reminder to all Californian patriots. Petitions to repeal the gas tax start to circulate this week. Be sure to find and sign the petition.

Sas...There is probably 100% more likelihood that you'll actually be found to exist before that ever happens. good luck either way.

Hopefully it gets repealed on the ballot.
They (Democrats) put the fix on Prop 6. They worded incorrectly. Be sure to tell all your friends and family to vote YES on Prop 6. It is the the REPEAL THE GAS TAX prop, NOT the attack bridges and road work prop.

But without the gas tax how will California pay for the bridges and road work?

Now if part of the gas tax goes to programs that don't involve transportation I could see repealing that part of the gas tax. I do know that CA has one of the highest fuel tax rates in the country.

Speaking as a Californian that pays attention I can tell you the CA government has plenty of money to fixed roads and bridges. They instead choose to spend that money on pensions, illegals, homeless and resisting Trump. Mostly on pensions though. And full disclosure, one of those pensions is mine. Why would I vote against something that helps pad my pension? Because I am doing something very rare in this world and putting others needs above mine.

40% of the gas tax has already been earmarked for things other than roads. The other 60% will be spent on bike lanes, buses and commuter trains, all of which has had ridership go DOWN over the last few years. No one wants to ride public transit. The noise you hear about bridges and roads is nothing more than propaganda and lies.
