Several mainstream media sites are projecting Obama as the winner. Seems pretty early in the night for that. Don'tcha think CNN?

Well, FoxNews is now projecting it too.

I don't think it's over until the last vote is counted. However, I sat there working out the electoral votes based on trends and current numbers and came to the same conclusion about 5 minutes before mainstream media announced it.

Looks like it's going to be an early night.
Honestly, either outcome was a bad one in my book.

It's just status quo politics here in America. We need honest, effective government and some REAL change and neither candidate can give us that.

Definitely gonna start stepping up my preps from here on out. Double dip recession is on the way.

So sad, I just do not understand how so many people worship that man the way they do. I dont think the alternative was that great, but at least Romney has some idea how to govern, atleast he believed in America. So, we get four more years of extravagant parties, attacking American exceptionalism, more debt, more and more government in our lives, LETTING AMERICANS DIE THEN LYING! OMG Obamacare is now a permanent anchor around the country's neck....God Help Us All.

Time to Bug out. . . To another country!!
Damn it NO,Irish, we're not done yet!!! There has got to b a way, come on guys brainstorm, God knows we've got more brains then the progressives. Right?
Concession has been made by Romney. Game over, man.
Well we've got to step up our game. B sutle n watch, I truely believe there will b a way for us to get back r America.!!!
No need in running to another country, unless you are from the other country. There's a global economic crap-storm enroute and you don't want to be the oddball foreigner when it hits.

Srpumpkin, do you want to change things? Well, there is already a vehicle. I voted Constitution party. Idiots at work told me that I would be wasting my vote were I to do that. My response was that I would get evil even if I voted and got the lesser of two evils.

I am very much a constitutionalist. Years ago, seeming contradictions caused me to start digging into the way things should be so that I could find out how things are the way they are, today. The journey has been something else, I want to tell you. During the journey, I have gained immense respect for those who founded this nation, while coming to a closer walk with God. From the journey, I learned to walk my own walk and totally avoid the crowd, as the crowd is heading to two Hells. One Hell is the one designed for Satan and the fallen angels, that we have coming for following Satan instead of Jesus. The other is the Hell of tyranny that is gained when the human being refuses to live as sovereign, free men and prefers the chains of no rights but a form of security. I say a form of security because there really isn't any. There is only enslavement.

Stop voting for the puppets of those who have stolen our nation and are enslaving us through regulations, inflation and taxation. I don't give a tinkers damn if you don't go to the polling booth as long as you are vocal in your reason for not going, or, if you go to the booth and vote for a candidate who is staunchly in favor of the constitution. Whatever you do, do not vote for an Establishment puppet. The only thing that will give you is a heavier set of chains.

My Previous statement was made out of pure emotion and DISGUST!! I have bleed for this country several different times and to think that I have to worry about every last right that was given to us by an OUTSTANDING group of men over 200 years being completely taken away is just DISGUSTING!!
Well that's it then, the majority of folks apparently thought Obama did a good enough job in his first term to warrant voting him back in for a second.
Maybe nailing Bin Laden on his watch is what swung it for him.
Certainly Obama talks better than Romney and seems more focussed.

I think the Republican party made some key mistakes in the last 12 months.

They need to stop the constant attack on women's issues. I know a lot of Republican women who refuse to vote for the candidates anymore because they want to take women back to the dark ages. I think the SBC has a lot to do with this.

Also, as a Ron Paul voter from Maine, there was no way in hell I was voting in Romney, especially not after the way our delegates were treated at the convention. They kicked the Maine delegates out, a group of good people including several VETERANS of AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ. That act is unforgivable to me and just another testament to how corrupt our political system has become. I am ready for the rise of a third party and am devoting my efforts 100% in that direction.

I pencilied in 'Dr. Ron Paul' on my ballot yesterday. It was the only vote I could make in good conscience. I knew he wasn't going to win, but at least I voted for right person and I know countless others who did the same.

I've been saying all week that Romney looks like a really bad dancer. LOL. Would've been funny to see him do the white guy shoulder shimmy on stage had he won. LOL.

Yay I do the same over here, I vote UKIP even though they're a minority party at present, so whenever I see the mess the big parties are making I can sit back with a big smug grin thinking "That's nothing to do with me, my conscience is quite clear because I never voted for them bozos"..:)

I always chuckle when people say a penciled in or third party vote is a wasted one. That's just mind control, folks. The mainstream wants you to think that.

A vote from one's heart is NEVER a wasted one.

Yay, our Big 3 parties over here are a joke and the day I vote for such fools will be the day you can measure me up for a straitjacket..:)
