I found this recipe and it said no refrigeration needed so I decided to try it. The recipe called for 12 to 16 eggs, but I could only get 10 in a quart sized jar. (Small of medium eggs might fit more.)

10 boiled eggs, peeled
2 cups white vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon pickling spice
1/2 an onion sliced into rings
1 clove garlic

Layer the eggs in a quart jar with the raw onion rings, and put a peeled, raw garlic clove in the jar.

Put the other ingredients in a pan, bring to a boil then cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour the vinegar mixture over the eggs and seal with a tight fitting lid. Let them set for 2 days.
The recipe said no refrigeration required. It did not say how long they would last. Try the no refrigeration at your own risk!
Please make sure to open the top away from you. Steaming vinegar is a potent sinus remedy. lol
