Not planning on bugging out. More like bugging in. If SHTF hard there will not be much gas around. Any long term run up to SHTF gas may be hard to come by. I have ben seriously considering placing and advance order for one of these. American made. up to 84 MPG.

Pack it up and out of here. Only joking aint going no where. But good fuel mileage quiet and fun to bug out on mow and then. More I play with it the more I like it better than the old setup.

Nice rig @Smitty901

Does it handle better with or without the passenger?
Not a lot of difference . With a Hack some add weight to sidecar when no one is in it about 25-40 pounds. After awhile you get use to it . Sidecar is a learning curve. As you can see I do take them off the road a bit.

Nope. There are coils, ecms within ecm, ignition components besides coils. Too many electronics within a new vehicle that cant be bypassed to run it.
Modern cars ECM can not just be swapped out . The replacement one must be flashed to the vehicle in most cases. The BCM and ECM along with other parts will not communicate unless you do .
The BCM plays a very big role in modern cars and motorcycles.
