Has anyone herd of this organization? They sent me a letter today for an "ambassador programs". I would love to go but cant (can't afford it), but they go to Spain, Italy, and France.

The program was begun in 1956 or 1957 by Dwight Eisenhower.
It has become a "for profit" organization , so the troops while being real, are expensive and of little value unless you make friends easily and stay in touch after your trip.
It was originally a student exchange of sorts, but has been re-targeted to a wealthier segment of the population instead of students.
