I used to carry one of those souvenir baseball bats in my vehicle, it fit down beside the drivers seat unnoticed. I guess if you want to add some weight to it, you could drill out the head of it and fill it with lead?

If you can't get away with pepper spray, get a can of Air Freshner, I don't know about you, but I've been accidentally sprayed with it, it burns extensively when sprayed in the eyes and taste horrible.
