I just started prepping I am currently a small business owner moving to florida. I sell dehydrated food and am looking to start my own survival school. I am also an 11B in the US Army (thats the reason for beginning to prep). Check out my dehydrated meals at GOFoods Global | SERVE. SAVE. SHARE.

Ideas and new points of view are very welcome!!!

I'm interested in why you picked Florida as your home base, where are you moving in from? If you are starting a survival school it would seem to me a dozen better states unless you are specializing in swamp survival.
Good luck in you ventures.

I have chosen Florida because of the undesirable climate (for most people). I have learned through the some of the special schools I have gone through that to remain undetected you go to the place people dont want to go themselves, that said I can pretty much adapt anywhere and my wife feels the same way. And by the way the beaches dont hurt! I am moving originating from California but I currently live in Germany. I DO NOT want to go back to California because frankly, the gun laws are crap and I cannot see myself living somewhere that I have to look over my shoulder all the time.
Thank you for your post and Thanks for the Luck!

There's an old etiquette freak here who will reprimand you for selling stuff here without first bowing down to him. Just ignore him. I was a bushman myself
I ordered the sample--good deal

How do you feel about turning your weapons on civilians? How do others feel in your squad or platoon?
Well there is a reason I am getting out of the Military. I do not agree with taking away rights that I have just returned from fighting for. Pretty much most of my guys agree with me. Since the recent events have taken place about 60% of my guys are getting out. Even if its a hard-knock life on the outside I will not kill or hurt Americans that just want the rights they were promised since birth.

Thank you for ordering and sorry for breaking the rules!

Haha Florida has 19 million people (8th largest population per square mile), not sure what you mean by undesireable climate. The up side is probably the most liberal gun laws of all the states with ocean frontage. Plus no state income taxes and the houses are really cheap, good job market.
Yes I know Texas has ocean frontage and liberal gun laws but who wants to live in an oven 8 months of the year.

What I am saying is the swamps and humidity are not the most desirable place for most people, there for they arent a bad place to hide out. The population may be dense but that doesnt mean people are smashed together everywhere, where im looking you can get away from everyone in close to an hour and twenty minutes.
I appreciate the feedback.

Oh, nice site, but I have an idea. Pails of freeze-dried campfire stew makings.
If the poo hits the blades, we plan on enjoying it, and nothing screams fun like a fire, a pot of soup/stew and tequila.

Meat not necessary. The woods provide more than enough.

I completely agree I am a bushcraft man myself but there is nothing better than a fire and a meal that youre used to eating back home. Especially with the stuff that you cant get from the woods. I will be in south fl.
