Hey everyone,

Good Morning, i was listening to the news here in NJ i heard a newspaper yesterday put out names and addresses of gun owners in New York State.. Are you Kidding me....

It was a list of Pistol permit holders in Westchester and Rockland counties I believe. The information was obtained through freedom of information requests with those counties. Putnam county has refused to release the names and addresses of permit holders. The Journal News now has hired security guards over the whole thing due to the influx of hate mail over it. Don't ever think your information is safe, anyone with a CCW is probably subject to the same treatment if their information is requested through the Freedom Of Information act.
