My name is Trevor and I am new to the forum and the prepping world.

I am 26 and live in Salt Lake City Utah, I have thought about starting the prepping recently. I have watched the "Doomsday Preppers" and always thought it was a good idea, but I wouldnt go as extreme as those on TV do.

I am looking to get some good ideas on prepping with this site!

Don't put much into what you see on tv, those are more for entrainment than the reality of it all. I quit watching that show 2 years ago to phony for me. I kinda compared it to the show here comes honey boo boo.
