Is there a way to tell If there has been a reply, or a new post to an existing thread?

When I look in my activity it just states what I posted. Not if another has posted after that.
The new post section seems to have what new posts are. Just not for a particular thread.
Is this accurate or am I not utilizing a particular section of the site?

In said thread, you can go up top, right hand side> thread tools> Subscribe to this Thread. It will then notify you when someone posts in the thread. (I think this is what you were asking... Hope this helps).

I have it set like that.

When I go to my my name at the top of the page, then it shows my activity. That is what I was referring to.

Edit: I see that I can go under { quick links... subscribed threads } is showing the last poster for thread.
