Birds fascinate me. Around our little farm there are just doves, cardinals and sparrows.
In the winter, we get robins and other "up north" birds that are down for the winter.

Welcome from Alabama.
I used to park at the Patton museum, climb on top of the trailer and marvel at the stars. I never knew there were so many stars.
I get supreme enjoyment from driving a few miles east to look at the stars. Impossible to see more than a dozen in LA.
It's better here where I live but even better further out in the desert. Stunning.

Not exactly a prepper topic but it's one of the few things I know about.
Well take a look around this place and you'll find few conventional prepper topics. I for one am more interested in ravens than in canning as canning usually leaves me slightly maimed and i prefer not to think about it until I must.

I know Light pollution sucks out in CA. Just like everything else. I doubt most of the stars will be visible ever again until the whole city is dynamited. Or should I say: Quothe the Raven 'nevermore'? I've been wanting to bust that out!

I'm from mASSachusetts so I know all about living in a shitty liberal state.
