Need some input on a rifle for my wife

Hi everyone
I own a few guns and sold some of them so I could consolidate the ammo I need down to 4 or 5 different rounds.i was thinking of getting my wife a 9mm of some sort. But I've never shot any other handgun round rifle other than a hipoint 9mm and it was a good shooter but I didn't like the mags you had to buy for it. I was thinking of getting a kel tec sub 2000 in 9mm so the ammo will match the handguns I already have. Do any of you have experience with this gun.also in considering getting the kel tec su16 for myself. Just looking for some info on these.
Thanks James.

I have seen some supper nice little rifles that shoot magnum handgun rounds, I.E. .357 magnum and .44 magnum, the reason that these are a terrible idea is the rounds are very expensive.

What do you want the rifle for. Shooting squirrel, the obvious answer is a .22 L.R. rifle and handgun.

Shooting deer, none of the above is a great deer round, ( I don't want to hear from you about your .44 .357 etc etc great deer rifle bullshit, it is barely sufficient, I have used .44 mag on several white tail, it was barely sufficient)

Personal defense, and hunting, a .22 magnum is a mid range expense round, it will get by for a personal defense handgun round, makes a fantastic small game round, and it is the preferred deer poaching round.

You choose.
