In this weeks news, The Obama Administration will break out the heavy handed thugs of Housing and Urban Development to begin what some call "Social Engineering" in an effort to "Track diversity of every single neighborhood in America and push policies to change those it deems discriminatory.", to include measures for re-zoning, financing, infrastructure and transportation. My guess is Obama watched "Elysium" and decided he could make it happen.

In other news, All you smokers out there get ready to be banned; even outdoors. While evidence of harm to others when one smokes outdoors is "flimsy", non-smokers want them gone. Next will be charcoal fired barbecues and recreational wood fires. With that, the newly created federal agency known as the "Smore Police" will be conducting surveillance and enforcement operations once HUD has determined which underprivileged neighborhoods are unable to enjoy them. It has also been rumored that Mrs. Obama feels that a combination of graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows is unhealthy and, does not meet the governments goal of dictating what we eat. She apparently grew up in the wrong zip code.

Watch your language! Or at least your headline. And forget any hopes of expressing your first amendment rights. An editor in Tennessee was fired for his piece critical of King Obama's "Jobs Plan". He told his majesty to take his jobs plan and shove it. After publishing what turned out to be the most read editorial in the papers history, he was fired; for violating a policy that was created the day AFTER the piece was published. I'm sure that the DOJ will be seizing his phone records next.

And finally, a pdf of what happens when the Nanny State gets a firm hold on it's populace. I found a list of examples from Australia, a place that has become a notorious socialist continent. While appearances on the outside are for tourist sake, the real goings on can be found in this link. Oddly enough, the individual who compiled the information actually began the list by chastising those who would attack the states intrusion on personal liberty. Hmmm? Kind of sounds like us....
