I went in for surgery yesterday (some major dangerous invasive ones that were going to lessen my ability to walk) and my specialist shows up in the waiting room after taking some x-rays. He says go home, all the gaps sealed up but a little crack in the femur and it'll close over. THANK YOU GOD, I was dreading that surgery since ten months ago. In only four months gaps of more than an inch closed over and compressed down on the implants to the point where they'll heal over soon. Man what a relief. Thanks everyone for your support and to the other guy recovering just take it easy, get out in the sun take your calcium and b vitamins. And if you need ANY more surgery get a second and third opinion. If I had let me horrible doctor they gave me at Gwinnett Medical do what he swore up and down he had to do, that leg wouldn't even work much anymore. Doctors are not god and I just proved it. They wanted to remove my rod (called a nail) BORE out my bone and open up my hip, bore that out and install YET ANOTHER one that was stiffer. That would have done my walking in. BUT now looks like everything's a-ok.

GOOD TO HEAR THAT..
Those turkeys and deer around your area have just put out a "APB" on you..If you need to get away for a vacation filled with turkeys hit me up, season starts Sept 1, and I still have the original 12 in sight, but have heard of "fields of turkey and deer" a mile from my house, with parking in a coworkers yard..BOOM>>>>..
Any surgery where you go completely under is scary, at least for me,(they say I wake up very combative), SO, yes, THANK GOD..Check your PM box...

Amazing what a little prayer can do for you. Too bad it seems most of the US has forgotten prayer.

Glad to hear some good news.
I was on time for opening day of squirrel season this year, first time I've been out since the wreck and it was fun fun. Didn't get anything but found some promising spots and a great new bug out location I'll put the video up here when my new bug out vehicle segment is done cooking in pinnacle. It just rang for done now. I took the BOV into the trails of a national forest and set all the gear and guns out, was a blast. I'm pretty sore but now that I know my bones wont crack and become a medical nightmare I could care less how much it hurts- pain is temporary, glory is forever. I'm just looking to bag some tree rats before deer archery season starts because I got an invite to an 800 acre lease this year free of charge. That and the guy (works for my mom, her best contractor) has a 100 acre farm with a bad hog problem we're looking to tackle. The BOV is going to be integral in this so I'm about to add a winch and start greasing the fender wells because I know that I'll be up in the mud soon. DEFINITELY good news. Pretty soon I won;t be just a sitting duck out here soon and that is encouraging.

I'm so glad you're almost 100%. Don't over-do now. Let that last bit of healing get done. If you've got wild hogs in your area, you're set for fresh meat in a SHTF scenario. I'm only a little envious, as they are so destructive. I'd love to go on a hog hunt, though. By horseback, if possible.

Congratulations, Leon. The one thing better than a doctor is an intelligent, informed man who can make his own decisions.

Dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening and love completely and unconditionally.

I can pretty much do two out of three - I just can't sing - not even to myself.
