Someone else (ralphs I think) had a thread about this in the guns area of the forum. He was wanting to get a road blocker, chainsaw or a rolling thunder tactical version. I think these are pretty neat for home defense. Has anyone else got one of these?

I have a regular 500, but not one of the mall ninja styles. It does alright for me.

Massad Ayoob actually recommends the Mossberg 500 youth model 20ga. for home defense. I have the Remington express youth 20ga. and love it. Loaded with #3 buckshot it makes a small, handy and very effective HD gun.
