Considering weight and space, What is the minimal set of hand tools to carry in your BOB in order to repair/disasemble stuff.

Here is a starting List:

1. Vice Grips
2. Adjustable Wrench
3. Needle Nose Pliers
4. 6 Way Screw Driver

YES, I always have one on my belt. And it has fixed a lot of things. But its not great for loosening stuck bolts. hence the vice-grips.
Great ideas! I'd like to suggest a decent sewing kit, with heavy thread and darning thread for repairing socks, and an awl for repairing shoes and boots. And for good measure toss in a couple of tubes of Shoe Goop.

Darn, that's a good idea !
A hacksaw blade (cut in half if size is an issue)
A small file (homemade parts will no doubt be "file to fit")
An awl/reamer (for drilling metal and wood, not necessarily the same as the one in post #4)
Cutters that can handle chain link (you only have to cut one wire to un-weave a chain link fence)
...the hacksaw blade will cut chain link if time and/or noise isn't an issue

General purpose stuff that might not be considered "tools":
Super glue
A couple of feet of duct tape
Zip ties
Lock picks to pop a lock on a garage or toolshed found a long the way.

j/k...
Kinda... 😉

...and the skills to use them

The LockPicking Lawyer on youtube has some 'good how' to videos.
He sells some prepper oriented lockpick sets on his website.
Is there a weight limit for said BOB? Cause I could make a big list if your hauling it. Maybe one of these.

The skillet should go without saying. If someone carries a lockpick set and has never opened a lock with it, they'd be better off just carrying a hammer.
So y

so you're advocating breaking and entering and larceny.

So much for being a law abiding citizen

For some locks that'd be my best (only) option 🤣

Tongue was firmly in cheek.
Hence the use of "j/k", or "just kidding" for those that don't keep up with the jive lingo.

But knowing how to bypass a lock is a survival skill like few others.
What one chooses to do with that knowledge is up to them. I advocate for having multiple options.
