Does anyone have experience with canning/vacuum sealing mustard to extend shelf life? I was at Walmart recently and saw that they had no mustard. After doing research I learned that there is a mustard shortage so I bought a large supply online. Now I'm not so sure it was a good idea but can't tell for sure as there is so little information about extending mustard shelf life online. All suggestions appreciated, including donating it :)

Thanks all, Steve

I've been buying my mustard at sam's club.in which they come in pairs.i have a pair sitting on my home made shelves. They've been there for a few months now.same with the thing of mustard I'm using now.it had been on the shelf for a few months before I needed it..I have heard that real/true mustard will last a long time.. just make sure that what's not being used unopened, and in a cool, dry, and at least somewhat dark area.same applys to ketchup as well.
