Sorry about that. I read a lot of posts just don't really post until I've needed to. I've come across a few first choice armor leve 3A soft body armor vests. I'd like to get rid of them because I've upgraded to plate carriers. I don't really know how much they're worth or where to sell them. I know that new ones online run around 250$ but mine are not new so I was thinking 100$. These are like the ones cops would wear under clothes. I tested one with my nine and it stopped 147 gr FMJs from my glock at ten feet.

Got ones that work on the nose and/or nuts?

Trapper,

I have seen body armor that has a flap hanging down covering the general nut area. I have not seen any with a nose covering. I do think that if one was wearing armor and were hit in the nut flap that they would still be out of the fight. I figure if I ever need body armor it will either be given to me or it will be laying all around.

Who made the panels?
What is the expiration date on them?
Is there a trauma plate and what type and size if present?
What size vest are they?
Male or female?
Carrier color, blue or white?
Unless i missed it you left these details out.
Multiple sizes. Blue. No trauma pads. And they stop bullets as I indicated earlier. Expiration date? Well they still stop bullets and I'm selling for cheap.

No just do not be a target , nor carry 80 lbs of crap, that pistols give some protection for.

Nazis wearing that crap will be dead anyway as they don't stop good 30 cal, head, nuts or chest.

If you are talking state of the art ceramic plates, 30 cal AP defeats it.

Every panel has an expiration date on it.
I know, I have been issued everyone of the levels from 2-4.
I was the federal grant writer for them for my department.
I still have all mine including the expired ones, they all are registered in my name under the federal grants they were paid for with.
They started dating them for liability reasons about 25-30 years ago after a second chance vest failed.
They still work after an expiry date, but there is degradation that is ongoing and the scale is based on many factors.

I personally will not use a soft vest without a steel or titanium trauma plate, all my softs do have them.

OTHERS can look at my QUESTIONS and your ANSWERS, and make up their OWN minds.

I don't think the OP understands that no one is going to buy his armor, as this was his first post, no one knows him, and armor isn't something you buy from an unknown source.

Further it has escaped him that all but the second post have been jokes at his expense that the rest of us have been enjoying throughly.
