This message sometimes appears at the top of the Prepperforums page, does it mean people don't like me or what?-

Ha ha I'm only joking, I know it's just an advert for some offsite app, but i bet a lot of noobs are not going to join PrepperForums if they see it and mistakenly feel that PF is an unfriendly site!
And noobs who've already joined are going to mistakenly walk out in disgust when they see the message..

i get that too and i think good, the problem is taking care of itself.
150 is my limit for fb friends.
and i think i really only have 3-4 friends in real life, if i lost my job that would let me camp there a coupla days.
and i get all exicte and dont wonder who.

Well I haven't got any friends at all in the real world, so the advert is bull as far as I'm concerned anyway!
Call me picky but if somebody doesn't shape up they're soon slung out of my life on their butts..:)

"Associate yourself with men of good quality, if you esteem your own reputation; for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company"- George Washington
"If you hang around with losers you become a loser" -Donald Trump

PS- I'm a lone wolf anyway (life is so much simpler that way), Kerr Avon in Blakes Seven (below) is like me, cold, calculating, logical, which is why he survived 4 series against the Federation who were on his tail-

Cally: "We must help these people"
Avon: "Must we? Personally I don't care if their whole planet turns into a mushroom"

Thank you woad, yer one stand up guy!
Jim I think you are a fine friend. You have one in me.
I just got home from a few weeks in the hospital. Massive heart attack. Now, that is when you find out who your friends really are. A lot of people you thought/think are your friends seem to disapear , while other people you haven't even thought about in years seem to show up to offer some type of help.
ahhh nadja. omg. how horrible. youhave to give a story. did you have asprin, did you know what it was? warning signs? god hunney. do take care!
Shotlady, Asprin ? LOL I am carrying Nitro in my pocket. My heart is done. This is a direct result of smoking heavy for about 49 years. So, any of you smokers out there, take head of my situation. I was for most of my life considered one tough person in any and all situations, but this is like nothing you can believe. Not to mention that while I was in the hospital, learned that a friend of mine in the same position died while on the table . So, I am now in the position that I would advise any of you that want to know anything about solar etc , to start asking and take advantage of my knowledge while you can.

Surviving a heart attack is a feather in your cap mate, well done..:)
Explorer Ranulph Fiennes also survived one but simply carried on running marathons and climbed Everest, and he's still going strong!

WIKI- "Despite having a heart attack [in 2003 at age 59] and undergoing a double heart bypass operation, Fiennes completed seven marathons in seven days.
In 2009, Fiennes successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest, becoming the oldest British person [65] to achieve this"

Fiennes-

Ranulph Fiennes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

PS- Fiennes must have been one of the fittest men on the planet, having made numerous treks and expeditions throughout his life and a nonsmoker, yet amazingly he was zapped by that heart attack, so if people like him can get one, it proves super-fitness is no guarantee of immunity to a heart attack for any of us!
