He's ten and i wanted to share cos it was just cute lol we were eating. dinner and i asked why aren't you eating your veggies? He looked at me serious like he believed in his answer and told me... i rather eat ice cream that's frozen veggies lol. later we were talking bout how they feel about me having a gun for protection and i gave them a lil speach about the rules blah blah... well my son gets up and say mom... you gotta buy a rocket launcher to make sure you don't miss the bad people lol then the other one yeah mom buy a transformers for the car hell protect us lol that was the 7 yrs old then the 8 yrs old tell me why you just don't get a ninja suit... I'm like for what and he's like mom nobody can hurt ninjas lol i gave up on the conversation lol it was so cute i.had to share it lol

Yep, that's cute. It never ceases to amaze me the associations kids can make.

It's good you have brought the conversation up though. It's a process, and one only you know your kids well enough to lay out. Best of luck in the journey!

Good thinking! As a kid in 1950's England I used to walk to the local village shop wearing my Davy Crockett buckskins outfit (coonskin hat and all) and was never once attacked by bears or ******, they knew better than to mess with me
