I get a LOT of good input from this forum but am a bit lost on how to get the recent TV shows on the net.

FYI I haven't had TV at my house for over 20 years, but I watch Netflix and keep up on my favorite TV shows but just a season behind.

Recently I have been watching "the walking dead' and God help me I don't want to wait for the next season so I have been looking into how I can do that.

My research has lead me to "Hulu" which seems to be the answer but..

A. I don't want to watch commercials so if that is the case let me know.

B. I don't mind paying for the service if it is commercial free

Please help an old man out!

Why would you want to watch TV? Are you suddenly becoming deranged? I always viewed you as a man of logic. If there is something that you absolutely must see, spend the $15 bucks and buy the DVDs... But not too often. :D

I would recommend using Itunes you can buy a digital copy and watch it on your computer or mobile device if you have one. I myself don't use my TV much anymore so I use Hulu a lot. Also you can simple google it "watch walking dead season 3 online" and you will get a lot of content options some will be pirated so you may have to be careful. I myself usually find a free way to watch it online and if I really like it I buy the DVD box set when it comes out and it's on sale. Also watch Hulu is much better now because they have LONGER ad breaks! Which means now you can use thoes breaks to go pee quick or grab a glass of water or stretch your legs for a moment :D

I like Inor's thought, I spent most of my formative years with no TV whatsoever and just hate the darn thing 95% of the time.

But we do subscribe to Hulu - it was one of the compromises to get rid of cable. Hulu DOES have commercials. Less than you see on normal TV but it does have them at all the normal breaks.

Netflix + Hulu is like $18 a month vs. the 100$+ for cable, and we like this combo better than the random junk on cable... Next up is getting rid of the TV in the bedroom...

I don't even have a tv anymore but we do watch certain shows online. Hulu is one of our main ones but you do get commercials. I don't think you get as many as you would on regular television and there is even a countdown so you know how long they will be. Amazon Prime is even better as there are no commercials. We just started using it in the past few weeks and are really starting to like it. Although we don't watch much, it is good to be able to watch what you want, when you want to..
