Good article. When my wife finds Buy One Get One deals at the grocery and is able to stack manufacturer and store coupons on the BOGO deals,to the point that the items are free, we stock up on these things. They could be potential barter items. For example, she found some organic soap that is new to the market and was being heavily promoted for a couple of weeks. We got over 100 bars of that. A month ago she got Advil free. We have over 100 40-count bottles of Advil. The month before that was some granola bar that actually came out to a negative balance. Many stores won't open the register and give you money, but most will apply the negative balance towards your other purchases. We bought about 150 of those individual granola bars.
