Boy I hope you got ventilation for that thing! I raised chickens for FFA and for eggs/meat, and it killed me walking in the pen during winter. Not much ventilation. In the summer, nothing helps. At least not in the Texas heat/humidity. Looks nice though. All I had was a 2x4 framed pen with chicken wire. Stapled plastic sheeting to it during the winter and put up a heat lamp. We's just a little too po fo all that fancy stuff. What kind of chickens you got? I had White Leghorns. I would like to build a small one out back, we can have 3 in the city without a permit, but the dogs are smart and destructive.

I am having CSI-Tech Jr. build me a well house (covered deck) and fixing up the deer camp shelter. The soil at the BOL is not great for farming because it is on a ridge and super rocky. I am afraid I will break a plow point if I'm not careful.

Being in Mississippi, my chickens need good ventilation in their coop, so I have windows front & back, large screened openings on both end doors, plus other metal vents in the walls. In the winter, I close the windows & put up clear polycarbonate panels over the doors. I do leave the other vents open as the gals need some fresh air.

In shallow soil or rocky think about building up beds. Got rock dig the rock out of the middle and use it to make a wall to hold dirt at the side of the bed. Anything that will allow you to build the soil up 6 inches will work, if not beds then containers. You an use 4 pallets , news paper, bought soil or dig it from where you got it foundation of new house. compost , a leafs to grow potatoes. Make the soil / compost / newspaper 6 inches deep plant potatoes, over with soil. When plants start to grow keep adding soil so you end up with soil 3 to 4 feet deep in the fall. Ready to harvest pull a side out and harvest away. Pile that soil up and do it again next year.

My place has very little yard so what I am going to build for the spring is waist high raised beds. Both are good ideas and here is a link to get an idea of what you want.

My wife wanted to try it out first so she ended up buying one of these. I like how well they work.
