Hey folks.

Coming to you from Scotland. Just getting into this stuff, have always been interested in working with my hands and making things myself (master knitter and cook here), have only recently started to turn this towards prepping. Getting myself into physical shape for it, doing some gardening, learning to do preserves and stuff. Fiance thinks I'm nuts, is putting it down to me being American, but so far it's cute to him, so it's all good.

As I mentioned, American originally, East Coast.

Any advice appreciated.

Wow, Scotland from the East Coast, must be nice over there. Welcome to the forums, we look forward from hearing about ideas from there.

Prepping is is a worldwide event. Glad you found us and welcome from New Mexico. Going to Scotland is definitely on my bucket list. I have lots of ancestry there.

Thanks for the welcome, folks.

Amy - that's part of why I came here, too. Then I fell in love with a Scotsman! We'll make it back to the states someday...

On the other hand, we have a bit of an advantage here, very few guns allowed in the country but unlike most Scots we both study medieval longsword...
