A bit of loking and you will find a Conex container is not a a good idea as an underground bunker. The containers are built to support weight on the pillars that make up the 4 corners. The sheathing is not designed to support much weight since it is just a skin. It's a shame, because they do, at first glance, seem like the perfect affordable bunker.
Just because they aren't good candidates for bunkers doesn't mean they aren't a great choice for economical shelter in an out of the way location.
