Co-incidence, my soil is sandy and string beans and tomatoes grow the best. In fact the peppers and cukes are being left out next year. Why fight the Father of Nature?Well look who it is!
Congrats on the purchase, my family has 30+ acres in Pennsylvania that I'll be moving back to next year, but it's all up the side of a mountain, so I'm afraid I don't have farming info. My grandparents have a pretty big garden they use for growing veggies, but our area is very sandy, so soil maintenance is a nightmare. They've had the best luck with string beans and tomatoes.
