Good for you! Welcome to our little corner of the internet.

I am in Maine so we were on the outskirts of the storm. We didn't really spend money on things we wouldn't normally buy. We did pick up some extra gas for the generator, but we figured if we didn't use it in the genny, it would end up in a car at some point. I also picked up two extra gallons of milk for my kids just in case. Other than that we were all set.

I went out about 2-hours before the storm him Maine and it was actually funny the stuff people were buying at the store....Hot Pockets, Pizzas, Chips, Cheetos, and 17 gallons of water. LOL. Total junk food.

its a damn shame really how people can be so unprepared for basics.

welcome from los angeles
Yes, it is sad. Unfortunately, the general public has no clue what is required of individuals to take care of themselves. Way too many rely on the govt or others to insure their wellbeing.
