Hello everyone we are a couple living in the East Mountains which are as you might imagine East of Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are not dooms-dayers, but do believe that the American economy is a wreck waiting to happen. When it happens we will have to be prepared and be trained and willing to handle that which comes. If it was still the 1970's, I would say Peace and Love to everyone........but it is 2013 and actually that still works!

I was really never into it either. I had returned from Viet Nam having done duty as a USMC Sniper, then went into Law Enforcement. I was originally on the Tucson, Arizona PD, then went up to Nevada. I was on the Boulder City PD, then Henderson PD, then State Narcotics. What part of Nevada are you from?

Welcome to the forum. Like you not everyone is a doomsdayer either, some just trying to be a little more self suffcient and a little less dependent too.
