First off I would like to introduce myself, My name is Blinddog on line but its Doug in real life. I am new to prepping but now I feel it is something I neally need to know how to do. I love to shoot and I have all of the long guns and pistols that are required to have alot of fun. I am married with 2 kids that have flown the nest. I think that I am going to enjoy this forum and I hope you guys enjoy having me around. I was a Scout master for 5 years so I do know somethings about outdoor survival. My wife and I are hoping to get a new home in Florida after the first of the year so we are not loading up on alot of stuff now because of the expense of moving it. But after the first of the year we will get serious about stocking up on the things that we need to survive for long term. I have been reading this forum before I joined it so I know that it will give me alot of knowledge that I will need in the future.

i lived there 11 years west melbourne
dependind on what you are prepping for and where you plan
to move to.
i would not live in a waterline state
stay up near pan handle if you can
