Hello! I'm stationed in Hawaii at Kaneohe Bay, but I'm hoping to get off this rock and head over to NC in a couple months and really ramp up my prepping. I haven't amassed any good supplies yet, just the bare essentials like the beginnings of a bug out bag and such, which is better than nothing I suppose haha. Quite honestly I am really glad to be leaving just for the simple fact that I am on an island and if SHTF that's alot of people in a very small space trying to survive...not a pretty picture.

Anyway it's great to be here! Thank you!!

Thanks for the welcome! It just hit me like a ton of bricks one day that I would be totally screwed if something were to happen. Figured a bugout bag would be the best starting point!

Thank you everyone for your warm welcomes!

Welcome to the group from southern AZ, and no matter what AOC says, you can not drive from Hawaii to NC!

Welcome, welcome!! Thanks for your service. Good that you're leaving Hawaii. Unfortunately I've heard it's very food insecure there. Could get very bad in a SHTF situation.

Welcome! Hope you bring along some of that sunshine with you on your return. It's in the 50's in North Idaho today!
