Hey Everyone,

Name is Alex, I just moved to the the Colorado Springs area about a month ago. I am interested in networking with people who are like minded in my area, as well as learning what I can from posts and such on this forum. cheers!

Welcome SAR-1L. I'm fairly new myself, but have found the site to be both a great resource, and entertaining to boot.

Welcome from Florida.
I spent a little over a year in The Springs back in the late 60's.
Fort Carson, to be exact. Too damn cold for a Florida boy.

Thank you guys!

@ RPD - Haha, I understand. I can't take the heat or humidity down in Florida, so much easier to put on extra layers of clothes. But you can't get naked enough to be comfortable in 90+ temps and 80%+ humidity. haha

The part of Florida where we are routinely sees afternoon temps in July-August of 105+ in the shade.
But that's OK, beats being in the field in a tent when it's 20 below!
