We specialize in brand new shooters. Getting people acquainted and comfortable with firearms as well as basic firearm safety. More specifically three different levels of handgun, basic rifle, basic shotgun and concealed carry. Sometimes I do paperwork for permits as well as range qualification. I help on the civilian side but the boss trains LEO's for the state.
The restrictions in California are actually not as bad as in some other states now. With multiple victories in court many of the restrictions are soon going away (like the handgun roster) but the state of California is hanging on tooth and nail.
