I have seen many solar/hand powered all-in one devices that usually have a flashlight, a am/fm radio, and a charging port for a cell phone. One of the things that I couldnt help but wonder is if there is a version of this that includes a non-cell phone way of communicating with someone, short wave radio or CB radio that is included. Lots of times cellphones wont get a signal and in an emergency situation you might be able to get high ground and try different frequencies to reach someone. Also if you let you friends/family know what frequecies you use, if there is a search party they could maybe find you easier by staying on that channel. If anyone has heard of this or has a thought on how I might be able to make this out of other products I would love to hear from you!
