Thanks for the welcome! Yes, the perspective is a little different over here. There's very little in the way of wilderness to bug out to. A lot of people talk about it, but it think that it would end up being an e tended camping/bushcraft trip with lots of others Preppers and Prepper-wannabes. And it would doubtless be raining. A lot. The firearms issue is also a big difference, plus the fact that the powers that be have decided that all knives are weapons, regardless of who is carrying them; I dread to think what they would make of tomahawks.
Apart from that, though, I don't think that we're too different: we largely have the same overall concerns and like to prepare for the worst.
